After we launched our inclusive fixed fee members' and creditors' voluntary liquidation services in England and Wales it wasn't long before we were being contacted by directors of companies registered in Scotland, who were naturally interested in our services, particularly as our fees can be half or even a third of what our competitors charge north of the border.

Special Requirements for Scottish Companies:
Statutory advertising is placed in the Edinburgh Gazette and locally as required for creditors' voluntary liquidations by our agents in competitively priced newspapers. All Companies House forms for the liquidation are filed at Companies House in Edinburgh. It is also a requirement that a Scottish company's registered office address must remain in Scotland.

Members Voluntary Liquidations ("MVLs"):
Cost effective fixed fee and disbursement packages available. Peace of mind inclusive package fees of £1,250 + VAT (VAT is recoverable in the liquidation unless the company is not registered for VAT or if registration is at a flat rate). Creditors Voluntary Liquidations ("CVLs"):
Cost effective liquidations for small insolvent companies with few creditors - fixed fee and disbursement packages available starting from £1,950 plus disbursements of about £917 (includes approximately £500 for local statutory advertising in Scotland - notice placed in two local papers for section 98 Insolvency Act 1986 creditors' meeting and one local paper to advertise appointment of liquidator and Notice to Prove following commencement of liquidation, all plus VAT (VAT is not payable by directors as may be recovered in liquidation provided company is/was VAT registered at full rate, but shall be payable if company is not registered for VAT or if registration is/was at a flat rate) For more details of our CVL service, click here
